Thai Smile Airways is planning flights to Nan in the North and Nakhon Phanom in the Northeast, seeing the potential for tourism growth in these two provinces.

Chief executive officer Charita Leelayudth said that the carrier had resumed domestic flights on June 1 and had got a good response from passengers. Its cabin factor is between 60 to 70 per cent.

The carrier launched a new route from Bangkok to Nakhon Si Thammarat on September 10.

Not difficult if big brother is not allowed to fly ???? But indeed their planes are better suited for those routes.

Nan needs more daily flights. Nok pulled out about a year ago and the only thing that has held Nan and northern Nan province back tourist wise was COVID. But that is abating and the place is rocking again. Quiet spot, but well worth it for northern culture, food, clean and green natural environment.
