TuanLindsay
Visa extension query Synopsis (Dutch National) Annual Non O visa extension expired whilst he was pandemically stranded in Holland. New Non O issued at the Hague, returned on a repatriation flight 13th September and given 90 days entry on arrival. Visited immigration as a precaution before 26th September end of amnesty period, belt and braces, and was advised to return at the end of the 90 day period. Question May he then apply for an annual extension to his new non O, based on marriage with an embassy letter as was his norm prior pandemic? If his embassy will issue proof of income he can still use it to meet the 40k baht income requirement.
TuanLindsay
Tonray. He had completed quarantine but as that was not pertinent to my question was not included as superfluous information but thank you for your response. Ubonjoe, Thank you yet again. The Dutch Embassy do provide income affidavits, his main concern is that initially, many years ago, when first arriving he had to leave Thailand every 90 days during that first year of his Non o and then apply for an annual extension. This is of course is impracticable. Things change of course and he really needs reassurance that an extension application in November will be accepted. Immigration may ask for back up of proof of the income shown on the affidavit such as bank transfers and etc.
