I was thinking of travelling to Phuket this weekend. Was wondering if there are any sports bars or Australian bars open  to watch the Australian football league.

Not sure where you are thinking of staying but:

Peppers Sports Bar in Tinlay Place, Cherngtalay

Cider House, Cherntaly

Ausie Sports Bar, Kamala main road

 

They are the ones that are definately open in this neck of the woods.

Walkabout in Karon is a great place to be.

If you are heading to Patong then Black Horse on Bangla walking street will play the Australian football league for you as will Aussie bar

Thanks. I'm pretty open. I'd just heard a lot of places were closed so wanted to check. Was just going to arrive and see where I ended up. 

On a related note.....I wanted to watch the R Union Bledisloe cup match (Nz vs Oz) on Sunday but preferred to watch it on my comp/tv, but couldn't. 

 

How/where can I watch the next game, not pref a bar??
