eVisa process London

Featured Replies

Hola,

I have question about applying for visa at London embassy on evisa system.

I complete application (non O Mar) and upload all documents listed. Now I have option buttons to request by mail or collect.

I know if I press by mail I must then post all my application, docs and passport to embassy straight away.

What happens if I press collect at embassy? Will they give me an appointment to come and collect visa? Is that normally one day or is it more visit? I am staying in remote location so do not want to visit London many times. I don't want to use post as I may need my passport very quickly as I have ill close relative overseas.

Any one know what pressing collect will mean?

When i selected collect, i had to have an appointment to drop off passport and documents, and return next day(no appointment required)  to pick up passport, this was Jan this year though. i'm sure when i said collect an appointment calendar came up

I think you will have to do it by mail. The embassy is not doing them in person at this time.

I assume you have already applied for a certificate of entry.
