The final episode of Queen of the South’s fourth season last year concluded with the dramatic return of James Valdez.

Ahead of the crime drama’s return to the USA Network and Netflix, fans have been wondering if his stunning reunion with Teresa could signal a rekindling of their relationship.

James Valdez (played by Peter Gadiot) has always harboured strong feelings for his boss, powerful drug mogul Teresa Mendoza (Alice Braga).

Unfortunately, her loyal right-hand man had to compete for her affections with Guero Davilas (Jon Ecker).
