Phil Conners Posted June 22, 2004 Share Posted June 22, 2004 Toyota or Isuzu 4x4 pickups are probably your two best options for service and resell value! Both come from the most simple configuration with two seats and a large bed, no air, plastic seats, no power anything up to 4 doors, leather, air, automatic everything... prices range I think from around 500,000-850,000 baht. Tigrrl Posted June 28, 2004 Share Posted June 28, 2004 We ride good quality mountain bicycles on Samui exclusively --- no diesel, no hassels, better time than cars, and safer. Plus the ultimate workout! It really is possible and fun. It takes less than 2 hours to ride round the island and for trips around your local area it can't be beat. The trick is to get a decent bicycle -- a cheap one is not worth the trouble. Imagine beating pollution while getting fit! And no noise! You can do it!
