Is a skillet a frying pan? I would go to either Paragon or Emporium for the biggest selection (and most expensive) or central or a market.

they make toaster ovens with a skillet on top...gets hot enough to boil a 2 quart pot of pinto beans...

other than that, theres a really big selection of electric woks and frying pans if you can do without the seperator...

where can i pick one up in bkk? i dont need the seperator, but i havent seen anything in tesco.

Pardon me if I state the obvious, but I hope the 'nonstick surface' won't be used by people unfamiliar with Teflon type coatings. I've had 2 or 3 teflon skillets ruined by folks who used metal spatulas and spoons on them.

Could you use a transformer to run it on? I know it depends on the wattage and so forth, but it does work. If you can, let me know. I am coming to BKK in June. Should not be a problem bringing something like that. Anyone know for sure? Walmart is just down the street.
