accel
Hello, my new school has told me I need this for the work permit process. I obtained a work permit previously without needing this. Have there been changes to the process to make this necessary? There are no forms for this available on the embassy website. Is there a template anywhere I can use for this? Thanks
accel
ah, in case anyone seeing this in the future is looking for the form, it can be found here: https://th.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/90/blank-affidavit-bangkok-january-2019.pdf my question still stands though
CrunchWrapSupreme
Depends on your province. Out at my previous schools in Issan, I didn't need this. Now that I'm back near BKK, I needed it. I'm guessing they've had more trouble with dodgy degrees around here. On the form, you write something to the effect of: "I possess a legitimate X degree from X university in the USA". You put your hand up and swear to this. They don't even want to see the degree. You pay fifty bucks. Then you take this to the MFA office near Khlong Toei MRT, to be translated and stamped. accel
I guess its actually for visa extension not for work permit and I'm still not sure its even required. Ah well, payed the $50. Translation too?! So many useless pieces of paper <deleted>

Yellowtail
My favorite is renewing my free senior citizen movie discount card every year. If I'm a senior citizen this year, will I not still be a senior citizen next year? 1
