Drugs..........generic alternatives

Asking for a friend who is not internet savvy.................can anyone suggest generic alternatives for the following drugs

 

Pantoprazole/Controlec...............Is Miracid the same?

Imdex

Spironolactone

Furosemide

 

I used to have a bookmark that listed the alternatives but it has disappeared

Pantoprazole = Pantoprol

Miracid is omeprazole. Same class of drug/same action  but not the exact same drug. Omeprazole is cheaper and easier to find but you can try to find Pantoprol.

 

Imdex = Monolin SR (make sure to get SR not regular Monolin). If unable to find this let me know as other brands of the same thing here are not sustained release and he would have top alter dosage schedule to use them.Monolin SR is the only locally made formulation which is sustained release.

 

Spironolactone=  Altone, Hyles, Pondactone, Spironex, S-tone

 

Furosemide =  literally dozens of brands, I can't begin to list them all. Just ask for Furosemide.
