While fans still have several months to wait until the delayed sequel A Quiet Place II hits theaters, another project set in this silent world is happening.

Paramount Pictures is putting together an untitled spin-off movie with Jeff Nichols (Mud, Midnight Special) set to write and direct, per The Hollywood Reporter.

John Krasinski, who co-wrote and directed 2018's A Quiet Place and wrote and directed the sequel, came up with the story for this untitled spin-off.

While no story details were given, this project will be connected somehow to the first movie.
