TR visa flight booking

Featured Replies

Applying for TR visa, Ottawa embassy requires "e-ticket".  Will I get rejected if I just fill in Airline & flight# (requirement on visa app) but not submit e-ticket?  Don't want to book a flight until I know I will get the visa.

I think they will want to see proof of confirmed flight to Thailand now. As soon as the visa is issued you will need it to apply for a certificate of entry.

If you meet all the requirements your visa will be issued without problem.

A assume you are looking this file for the requirements. https://image.mfa.go.th/mfa/0/pFxDf7ZYQ7/ไฟล์เอกสาร/VISAS-COE/I_TOURIST_VISA_1.pdf

Yes that's the document I was referring to. One concern I have is the bank account that I will submit is a joint account......it's complicated......and the money is not mine, but legally it is. My name (and the co-account holders name) is on the statement, as is my address.

They will accept the joint account. There is no mention of it having to be in a account in you name only.

FYI. I finally was able to speak to someone at the embassy.  They said just indicate the intended flight (airline, flight#, date) on the visa app and book after obtaining visa.  Flight and ASQ booking and insurance required for COE, not visa
