People living in Bangkok experienced cool breezes throughout the day today, as temperatures dropped by 1-3oC, due to the arrival of a cold front from China.

The Meteorological Department said today that the high pressure cell will cover northern Thailand from Friday until next Tuesday, keeping temperatures in Bangkok and its neighboring provinces cool, while those in the Northeast will fall by 3-5oC and 2-4oC the northern region.

Minimum temperatures in Bangkok and its peripherals on November 13th through 15th are forecast at between 20-22oC, with the possibility of rain over 20% of the area.

Minimum temperatures in other central provinces, from November 13th to 17th, are forecast to be 19-21oC while, in the northern region, minimum temperatures on the plains will range from 12-19oC but, in the mountainous areas, temperatures may drop to 6-12oC.

The lacklustre tourism business in northern and northeastern provinces is expected to be given a big boost, as tourists are expected to flock to mountain resorts, to view the sea of fog and experience the cold weather.

I live in the North and every year there is a influx of domestic tourists from Bangkok and the South.

We have a motel and apartments and the bookings have started already.

Sorry to disappoint you.

I've actually had to put a shirt on. Interrupts my bid to reduce world pollution by not needing to use soap powder to wash my tops.

Call for the Night Nurse...

Unfortunately the cool season makes the start of high level 2.5 PM air pollution turning Thailand into the hub when Chiang Mai once again becomes the most polluted city on the planet. Loving it. ????

Yes it seems they start burning everything to keep warm !
