Denzel Washington's mansion draws multiple fire crews responding to reports of 'smoke'

Reports: Los Angeles Fire Department crews confirmed they attended Denzel's 29,000-sq. ft home in the exclusive Beverly Crest neighbourhood on Wednesday evening (pictured with his wife Pauletta)

 

Denzel Washington's Beverly Hills mansion was attended by the fire department after 'billowing smoke' was spotted in the second floor of the property.

 

Los Angeles Fire Department crews confirmed they attended Denzel's 29,000-sq. ft home in the exclusive Beverly Crest neighbourhood on Wednesday evening.

 

It was later reported that fire officers did not find any 'active flames' when they rushed to the home following reports from neighbours.

 

It is unclear whether the actor, 65, was at home during the time of the call however everyone in the house was safely evacuated at the time.
