BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand has seized almost $1 billion worth of contraband ketamine, most of it probably destined for Europe, Japan or Korea, the Thai Narcotics Suppression Bureau said on Thursday.

More Than 300 Cannabis Clinics Open Nationwide

 

 

BANGKOK (TNA) – More than 300 cannabis clinics have opened nationwide since the legalization of cannabis for medical purposes in Thailand and 70 per cent of patients using it showed improvement in their symptoms, said Deputy Prime Minister and Public Health Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul.

Thai troops quarantined after meeting with infected South Korea soldier

The Army has ordered 177 officers into home quarantine after they attended a meeting in Rayong with a South Korean soldier who tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday. The November 2-6 meeting was held in Ban Chang district to plan next year’s Cobra Gold military exercise and was joined by officers from 10 countries.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - An internal Justice Department investigation has concluded that then-U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta exercised "poor judgment" by allowing financier Jeffrey Epstein to enter a non-prosecution agreement over alleged sex crimes, but cleared him and other prosecutors of any professional misconduct in their handling of the case.
