60 day rejection / required docs

Featured Replies

I went to MTT a couple days ago to apply for 60 day covid extension.

I was rejected; at the time of going you now need these:

Proof that flights were cancelled

An embassy letter

I tried to explain that the US embassy wasn't doing these anymore, they seemed to know and understand, but apparently you have to contact them anyways, and print off the response they give you.

Hope this is helpful to someone.

On a side note, does anyone think another office in a different region would be more flexible, worth trying?

Cheers

OP, did you mention affidavit to imm officer, that MTT has provided to some people according to reports.

A report today from Phuket where someone was able to sign affidavit.

I did not, I assume if they had another option to offer you they would let you know. I will bring it up if I go back with (somehow) these docs.

Was this by immigration (having paid 1900) or before you got that far? (so a wasted trip only)

I actually don't expect them to be very forthcoming with alternatives that would be best suited to you..... good luck.

This was was I said in another post yesterday - with no clear info on the Immigration website each individual office can pretty much ask for what they want
