One year extension of stay denied - CW today

Non O multi with previous 60 stay extension before end Sept date. 

Arrived at CW at 7am. Number 100 something in the queue already.

I chose to take the 'income method' and showed 3 x 40,000+ coming in by foreign wire transfer. I've been researching it here on Thaivisa. This meant a trip to the lazy Bangkok bank downstairs at CW ( which took ages put us to the back of the queue ). 

Several hours later, after their lunch break, the one year extension of stay based on marriage was denied. They said they require no less than 12 x 40,000+ on my Bangkok Bank account in order to grant the one year extension. Not 2 remittances, as mentioned here. I had actually sent 3, and had all the bank info. 

As always, they were less than helpful and spoke very poor Tinglish. But after cancelling my non O visa, they exceptionally granted a 60 extension ( on top of the one I got in Sept ) by which i must leave the country. It was actually an 'under consideration stamp' and I have to go back there again in 2 weeks to get the full stamp for 60 days. They would not 'revalue' the previous extension due to the last minute change of dates at the end of Sept. I had all the stickers and the evidence of a revalued stamp that somebody uploaded. They were not impressed. 

The place was packed. My wife and I were there for the best part of 8 hours, which of course was lovely. I'm therefore out of here by mid January, unless of course the borders reopen... They kept banging on about the 400,000 in the bank, otherwise no 12 month extension. Good for them.
