Vaccine relief promised: Australia to provide assistance under Covax initiative

Featured Replies

Australia will provide COVID-19 vaccine assistance to Cambodia, under the Covax initiative, after the World Health Organization approves one or more currently being tested by several countries.

The announcement of COVID-19 vaccine assistance to Cambodia was made during a meeting between Australian Ambassador to Cambodia, Pablo Kang and Cambodian Minister of Health Mam Bun Heng on Friday afternoon. During a meeting at the Ministry of Health, Kang said the Australian government would provide COVID-19 vaccine assistance to Cambodia when the WHO announces it for official use in the future.

“The Australian Govern-ment has announced a grant of AUD 500 million (about $360 million) to the Covax initiative, a project to develop and distribute the COVID-19 vaccine, which was initiated by the WHO, at the time when the vaccine is effective, usable and available to supply countries in Southeast Asia and the Pacific, including Cambodia,” he said.

ThaiVisa, c'est aussi en français

ThaiVisa, it's also in French

Well, my hope for the vaccine is that the same Thai family

that the contract for Rabies Vaccine for many years in Thailand

does not have finger in this one.

If you remember that bunch was cutting Rabies vaccine with 50%

water to double their profits.

If Thailand ever got serious about ending corruption, they would

pass informant laws , like whistle blower laws.

Not the kind where informants go to prison, but instead got

25% of any fines or saving to the government for blowing

a whistle on corruption.

Corruption would end in one year.

Right now you can go to prison for saying a hotel does

not provide clean sheets.

With all the money they are making from the 'Casino's' and the Chinese gamblers flocking in from China I get very <deleted> off when our tax dollars are flippantly given away to a corrupt gov. like Cambodia, being as that the virus originated in China and Cambodia is acting like a vassal state of China, why aren't they paying for the vaccines,I'm sure that the money will be diverted to there fat politicians

Why isn't Australia helping Australian citizens first?
