Best Place For Non O Visa

Featured Replies

:o Hello,

I’m a little bite confused concerning Non O visa.

I am 42, from Switzerland. I am married for 11 years with my Thai wife. We married in Switzerland, but never registered the marriage in Thailand.

I get a Non Immigrant Visa/Multiple journey for 12 month, and it will expire on 15 of July. I do not want a visa extension, but the same one I had.

We are in Thailand, and I would like to know which papers I need. Also do I have to translate the marriage certificate which is in French?

Where is the best place to apply for a new non O visa? Had Jay, Kuala Lumpur, Laos or Cambodia.

Thank you for reply, and sorry for my poor English.

The Consulate will consider that you are avoiding getting the extension on financial grounds, thus, a multiple entry O visa may elude you in the SEA region. A single is about the best you will get.

Thank you for your reply Dr,

I have a Thai bank account and can provide the money at the consulate or embassy.

I just think it’s easier to make it like this, expect you have to leave the country every 90 days.

OK Either show sufficient funds and give a need to travel to the Thai Mission to get a non-immigrant O visa, or extend the visa for a year at a time at Immigration in Thailand.
