After saving a spot from being concreted in front of the house , I did a bit of landscaping and had some turf layed . The grass is growing beautifully , but now Ma Inlaw is having to cut it with scissors . This is a small plot of about 12 square meters so the non engined variety would be Ideal . But if they are not available and electric or engined type will have to suffice .

Any info on where I can get one in Bangkok would be appreciated .

For sure saw a couple shops with proper lawn mowers along Chareon Krung road (one way) before it hits chinatown. Let me know if you need further detials. I was amazed as it was the ony few shops I have seen in thailand with them. I guess Thais don't know the difference between those and weed wackers.

For those interested , I was able to purchase a reel mower on third rd. in Pattaya last week . Just happenned across this building supplies shop as I was looking for this bike shop with the 20k baht new bikes . Very close to this area , but across the road . Cost was 2300baht , had an electric mower and a motorized one at the same shop . Cheers for the suggestions anyway . BTW they only had one of each , but if you take a picture along they should be able to order one in if the haven't allready replaced it .
