Flying with pet from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. Is this possible?

Featured Replies

Hi folks!

We are moving from the PI to Chiang Mai and can't find an airline that will take our dog from Bangkok to Chiang Mai in cabin or checked baggage.

Is this possible and with what airlines?

 Thank you!

I have since found out that Bangkok Airways does it... Never mind! ????

I have also found out that you cannot transfer airlines and your luggage automatically in Bangkok. You must go through customs and immigration then go into quarantine for 14 days before you can continue on any other domestic flights.... When this is over you can transfer yourself, luggage and pets to your final destination in Thailand and go through immigration and customs at your final airport which MUST be an international Airport. Such as:

  1. Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX)
  2. Phuket International Airport (HKT)
  3. Hat Yai International Airport (HDY)
  4. Mae Fah Luang-Chiang Rai International Airport (CEI)
