Neighbor shoots twenty times at house next door - "because they were not friendly!"

A Thai man told police that the reason he let off a salvo of shots at his neighbor was because he was not being friendly.

 

Rattanathibet, Nonthaburi, police chief Pol Col Theerawat Khajornkiatphas led the questioning after Thattaphon, 31, had been arrested at his house yesterday afternoon.

 

He was still sleeping and still hung over from a session with his friends. 

 

He had come home drunk in the night and fired more than 20 shots at his neighbor Chatchai's house damaging the house itself and a vehicle. 

 

Thataphon said he was angry at Chatchai for building a house next door. When putting in electricity and water utilities he had not consulted him at all. 

 

"He was aloof and not neighborly like he didn't want to make any friendships", he told the police. 

 

He admitted what he had done and apologized. He said he would say sorry to his neighbor and pay for all the damage. 

 

That is currently being assessed. 

 

Meanwhile it was discovered that Thattaphon has previous weapons' offences and for assault. The gun was in his mother's name. 

 

He was charged with using someone else's weapon, letting off a firearm in public and criminal damage.

The guy whose home he shot up was obviously a good judge of character and wanted nothing to do with him

Try reading what was going on in Afghanistan before usa got involved before having a dig at them.

so now that Thataphon had shot 20 times at his his neighbor's house, his neighbor will be friendly, i guess

If the damaged neighbour has any sense then the repairs are going to be really expensive, only use top notch firms, a bullet hole in the car door? replace the complete door and do a respray of the whole car to make sure the there is no discrepancy in colour shade. A bullet hole in the wall? no plaster job, cut out the brick, replace it, replaster and repaint the whole wall. A bullet hole in the air-con casing? I want a new air-con.

Sweet revenge, but perhaps not heal neighbourhood dispute, include an 8 foot wall around the property as well

Well that will make much friendlier, Thai logic init . he didn't consult him for lecky and water, (was he hoping to get the work?) probably saw how the drunken slob next door had done his.

without wishing to be nit picking but should that not be a volley of shots .. 

Salvo's are usually reserved for artillery .. though it's probably just as well this bloke ain't got an artillery piece as well ..
