Tourist visa extension after 90 days?

Featured Replies

I am currently in Thailand with 60 day tourist visa that can be extended for 30 days. My original plan was to have a 5 month trip and go to first visit Thailand then Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and then come back to Thailand later. However at the moment it doesnt look good that it is possible to leave Thailand  before march and come back to Thailand without having to be again 14 days in quarantine.

What are my options to stay in Thailand longer than 90 days with my tourist visa?

I have a Thai girlfriend living in a Thailand and if we marry eachother am i then able to stay longer in Thailand?

Can the tourist visa be extended now during the pandemic?

You can apply for a 60 day covid 19 extension up to January 29th at this time.

If you get married you could apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife.

Or you could apply for a 90 day non-o visa entry at immigration. On the day you apply for the visa you would need 400k baht in a Thai bank or proof of 40k baht income. The during the last the 30 day of the 90 day entry you could apply for a one year extension based upon marriage if the 400k baht has been in the bank for 2 months.
