My full name and my Thai home address required by my UK bank on a Kassikorn Bank Statement

Featured Replies

My retirement company have asked me to get a bank statement with my name and address on it. Will I need a proof of residence form from immigration do you think?

The idea is that they trust a document from a bank with your name and address on it.

And hopefully that one document is all they need.

Your retirement company asked for a bank statement, not a residence certificate.

Just go to the bank and ask them to print a statement with your name and address in english on it. If the address on the statement is in Thai then take the statement to a notary public lawyer who will attest the bank statement with a covering letter and stamp that explains the Thai doc and address in english.

Have done it many times for banks abroad.

Have got statements printed, signed and stamped from Bangkok bank, kasikorn and krungsri.

No need of a residence certificate, that is for an internal Thailand reason (open bank account, driving license etc...)
