bbabythai
We live in a building (in a city cbd) and have a concrete back yard with a huge old tree. In the past couple of yrs we've sometimes seen a few snakes come and go. We found one in our bird cage 4 months ago. Now we have some rabbits and I do like to let them out the back sometimes. If you can assist with any questions: 1. When is snake season in thailand. Back home its a summer thing. Over here what months of the year are they around? 2. Do snakes here go exploring for food sources at night time or in the heat of the day? 3. Our rabbits are fully grown. What are the chances of a city type of snake attacking a rabbit? If we were in rural location with huge anaconda type snakes I could see the risk. But surely the risk is lower for tree type snakes? thanks
worgeordie
1) 24/7 365 2) The snake you have to worry about, the Reticulated Python is active at night. 3) A large Reticulated Python is the only snake, that would be interested in your rabbits, yes they are around built up areas of Thailand, even Bangkok. regards worgeordie
Natai Beach
hey baby. Very simple and effective solution. Go to a hardware shop and buy some powdered sulphur. It is like cryptonite for snakes. They hate it. Just sprinkle around the area. it really works and is very cheap.
