Four charged for operating scam related to the government’s co-payment scheme

 

 

Police have filed charges against four people for allegedly operating an online scam, in collaboration with subscribers tothe government’s 50:50 co-payment scheme, in an attempt to cheat the government of the funds intended for the subscribers.

 

Police are also investigating the conduct of another 700 people,suspected of operating similar fraudulent schemes to cheat the government through fake spending by subscribers.

 

The four suspects were identified by police as 62-year old Sompong, the owner of a grocery store in Tambon Kork Krabue in Samut Sakhon province, her 25-year old son, Sarun, and a couple, named Jirapote and Mrs. Kanokpon.

The government will produce a modest number of unimportant, unconnected, nameless, faceless, powerless scapegoats....throw a barrage of criminal charges at them, fine and/or jail some of them, wait until everyone more or less forgets about it all...…and then declare the problem solved.

This is totally obscene showing the evidence to the public even before a trial of potentially innocent people.

 

Also ,no surprise naming these people a day dafter refusing to name and shame corrupt officials still doing 'a good job' !

Don`t question Thailand`s justice system. They have an incredibly high conviction rate. They`re so successful in defeating criminals that they`re now handing out convictions even before the crime was thought of.

No chance of them being  found innocent or the deformation charge would be in the post.

My wife said they are stealing tax payers money, I said you no need to worry you dont pay tax
