Sending USD from UK and receiving USD in Thailand without a bank account

Featured Replies

I would like to send USD from my currency account in the UK to Thailand. I want to receive USD, no THB.
I will have in the future a currency account in Thailand but do not have yet.
I am wondering what`s the best, cheapest way to do that without me having a bank account here.
I will really appreciate your opinions

Dis Thailand. Currency is Thai Baht. Your will have to take the exchange hit.

Otherwise get a Revolut account or similar and keep the US$ on the account.

I have a Revolut account.

Not sure what it has to do with USD transferred and received in Thailand.

You need to open an account before you send it

Listen, I explained your options.

This is Thailand; unless you have a FCA, you will have to receive the money in Thai baht and then exchange it back to US$....even if you send it in US$.

If you don't want to do that, you can put the US$ on your Revolut account and then disburse them from there....in US$ if the recipient has that option.

We aren't mind readers here; we have told you what is possible. If you think that you know better....

Thank you now I understand. You simply say it is not possible to send USD and receive USD while not having FCA account.

This is what I really wanted to know. If it was possibile I wanted to know ways.

I assumed at the beginning that maybe there is a way to do that and someone knows how.

Regards
