Retirement Visa O

Recommended Posts

I have been in Thailand on a Non B visa but I haven't been working.

I'm now 50 and want to obtain Non-Immigrant O visa.

The bank account is already in place and the 800,000 baht

is available but I haven't yet transferred it to Thailand

because I remember reading the timing to do this is important.

My question is can I apply for the Non-Immigrant O visa

in Bangkok or do I have to physically leave the country

to do so?

Make the transfer, get letter from bank, get medical and go to immigration to change your visa.

Believe there was a misunderstanding on timing. The bank 'letter' must be current and believe that is normally defined as within a week of application but the deposit is not time sensitive (except for exchange rate).
