eppic Posted December 27, 2020 Share Posted December 27, 2020 I just need to confirm whether MTT is still the only Bangkok location to do Covid extensions for visa exempt entries. I have seen reports of people getting Covid extensions at Chaengwattana, but I believe these have mostly been for other types of visa entry. Any recent experience? Also, what happens if a doing it a day or two late? I believe I had read before that this could be done if the 500/bt a day fine is paid...I would be willing to pay a day or two of fines to avoid the likely huge crowds this week. eppic Posted December 28, 2020 Author Share Posted December 28, 2020 Just to conclude this thread as well, MTT counter K was surprisingly quiet for being only a couple of days before the Dec 30 expiry of many Covid extensions. The process was easy and quick, not unpleasant at all (as in previous experience). Just a matter of completing the forms as indicated by Ubonjoe.
