I'm currently in Bangkok on a TR visa with the intent on turning it to an ED visa. (I was accepted into a Master's degree program at a university)

 

I have a number of concerns about the ED visa not working out for various reasons, so I was hoping I'd be able to apply for STV in Bangkok.  Anybody know if this is possible? 

 

Apologies if this has been asked before, there's so much info to sort through on this forum!

You can only apply for a STV at a embassy or official consulate.

The only visas immigration issues is non immigrant visas for those that qualify for certain extensions of stay.
