Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya and its subsidiaries) is allowing customers to suspend repayments of loans as part of additional measures to ease financial burdens amid the new Covid-19 outbreak.

The additional assistance is available until June 30, as follows:

Customers with mortgage and personal loans can suspend their principal repayment for up to three months or their principal and interest repayment for up to three months. Personal loan instalments can also be reduced up to 30 per cent, and revolving limit conversion to instalment payment up to 48 months.

Offered for business banking loans is a grace period on principal repayment of up to 12 months, or six months on principal and interest repayment. Also, instalment amount can be reduced up to 50 per cent for up to 12 months

For commercial banking customers, Krungsi said it will offer assistance on a case-by-case basis.

Meanwhile customers in areas under Covid-19 controls and restrictions get special assistance.

This includes a grace period on instalment payment of up to three months, and instalment amount reduction of up to 30 per cent.

For Krungsri credit card and personal loan customers, assistance measures include:

Reduction of minimum monthly payment rates.

For credit cards, minimum monthly payment rates for all customers will be automatically reduced from 10 per cent to 5 per cent for the billing cycles until December 31, 2021.

For personal loans, minimum monthly payment rates for all customers will be automatically reduced from 5 to 3 per cent for the billing cycles until December 31.

For customers with normal account status, interest rates will be reduced and instalment payment period extended for up to 99 months for customers in the affected business groups. Customers must register via the UCHOOSE application from now until June 30 and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

For customers with outstanding balance, monthly instalment amount will be reduced and instalment period extended for up to 99 months with special interest rate (debt restructuring) for customers in the affected business groups. Customers must contact Krungsri Consumer and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
