I've been offered some work here, i have an existing 1 year extension of stay based on marriage.

 

Does getting a WP affect my extension in anyway or i merely have both?

You can apply for a work permit and work with an extension of stay based upon marriage. It will have no effect on your current extension.

If your income is 40k baht or more you use can your income from working to meet that requirement for your extension.

With all the correct supporting documents it can be done in about 2 weeks or less.
