webfact
Koh Si Chang in Chonburi locked down as coastal outbreak worsens By The Nation Chonburi authorities have banned travel to or from Koh Si Chang after a Covid-19 outbreak in adjoining coastal districts. The lockdown is effective immediately until the situation is resolved, said Chonburi governor Phakthorn Thianchai, in his capacity as chairman of the provincial Communicable Diseases Committee. The move comes after the Covid-19 outbreak in neighbouring coastal districts including Sri Racha has continued to spread. To stop transmission of the virus, Koh Si Chang has been completely locked down. The Chonburi marine department will impose measures for boat operators while the sheriff of Koh Si Chang has been tasked with policing the lockdown. Popular Post ThailandRyan
59 cases today, and they are indicating that it is getting better every day, yet places are locking down even tighter. Wonder what the true story is here. We have not heard anymore on the Siriraj employees who tested positive or even the larger Klong Toei fresh market infection here in Bangkok. Not saying that there is anything nefarious going on, but it does make one wonder. GF's daughter has finally healed from the pneumonia she has had for over 2 weeks, and no they did not test her for Covid, just packed her home with meds. I know a few others who have been ill in the past week and have mild symptoms but will not go to the government hospitals as they fear being taken to isolation if it is Covid, so instead they have family watching over them, medicating from the local pharmacy, and are self isolating at their homes, and yes they are Thai. The medications have been up ticked to now stronger antibiotics, Z-packs, and meds to help with their breathing. 2

Are they working... ? If bacterial pneumonia or a secondary infection they would. But against a virus like Covid not.

The numbers are in their control.Only they know the truth but the group never releases the numbers. Just like a couple who always argue and fight at home but agree to never show a hint of that to the outside world, until <deleted> hits the fan 2

I have friends in a province west of Bkk who are doing the same thing, showing symptoms but choosing to lay low and not go to hospital or clinic. They choose to self medicate with something from the pharmacy, if they were to be found positive their joint business would wipe out the entire family income. 1
sungod
Irresponsible and inaccurate reporting as Rayong had 3 cases yesterday which accounted for all 3 in the 4 eastern provinces of Chonburi, Rayong, Chantaburi and Trat.
