Retirement extensions in Changwattana

Featured Replies

Are retirement extensions still possible in Changwattana and is it by appointment or walk in?

Possible, walk in

Income? Money in the bank? Appointment is possible, but not mandatory. I'd make one, speeds things up considerably.

Marriage, walk-ins only.

Appointment not mandatory but works like a breeze. http://203.151.166.132/immigrant_queue/booking/

If you use the appointment make sure you take PRINT OUT of the confirmation email. Check you span folder if you don't receive it.

Do your banking stuff (bank letter, small deposit etc at banks down stairs) note SCB does not have branch there. There is also photocopying on that level. Be on time as the appointments run on time.

Appointment not available for marriage extension.

Edit.. sorry mtls. Read you post to quickly. Thought you were asking is appointment available. Which you were not.

I guess that's due to the amount of paperwork and under consideration etc ?

You might want to read this new article posted today. FYI it is only for Bangkok immigration.

Typical muddle...headline says "compulsory", body says "urged".

As with all things here, YMMV.
