ffaarraanngg
Did Miles Dicken Turner and Abel Bonito Caldeira, ever get caught for the killing of Tony Kenway. Remember them hiring a motorbike using their passports, being caught on CCTV etc etc.. Surely even the Keystone cops that Thailand offers could have caught these 2, or Interpol must be involved thus their names will come up when crossing a border. Just seems odd that they're hardly master criminals and after a quick google search can't see anything about their arrests.
champers
There may be some reason that there is no great enthusiasm for them being caught; people of influence they were linked to, maybe. Not a few people think they carried out a worthwhile service to humanity when they dispatched Kenway.
dabhand
Their supposed 'controller' in Cambodia, Toby Nelhams, was given an 8 month sentence in PP back in 2017/18. It was a dispute between him and Kenway that led to the Pattaya hit from all accounts. The dispute having boiler room connections both in Spain and Thailand. There was talk of the 2 patsies being topped after they crossed back into Cambodia but, as was noted above, more likely that no-one in any authority was really keen to look under the steaming you know what and upset those that were benefiting from the connected scams. I think Drummond had a few articles on the incident. However, I believe he has been warned off other boiler room connected stories (Nana Plaza linked) so possibly that would stymie any chance of a wrap up investigation, either from him or any other investigative journo. Would make a good movie........

Oh yes he was clearly a tosser, but he still has family back in England who'd presumably be pushing their MP for answers.

Popular Post Kerryd
Couldn't find out much about it. Apparently the 2 hitmen went to Cambodia and haven't been seen since (so no doubt they ended up fertilizing a rice field somewhere soon after arriving). Toby Nelhams spent some time in a Cambodian prison (a few months at best) before being released and (presumably) deported. He flew to Malaga, Spain where he was arrested at the airport on an Interpol warrant (that apparently was initiated by Thailand). Spain's Extradition Courts are "closed door" affairs so no details were released as to the outcome. I don't see any other news relating to him so it's unknown if he was released (unlikely), sent to Thailand (possibly) or deported to the UK (also unlikely as he would have probably been in the news - again - by now). As we know, Thai court proceedings are usually "closed door" as well, which is why we never hear the outcome of certain cases and are left to speculate what happened (or didn't). You'd think it would make the news if they'd successfully extradited him and tried him, even if we never heard what his ultimate sentence was. I used to have a link to a site that listed all (most) of the foreign prisoners held in Thailand that included their name, nationality, crime(s) and sentence. Seems the site is gone now so I can't search for his name and Thailand doesn't publish their names. Every so often there'll be a short article in the press about how many foreign prisoners were transferred to their home countries to "finish their sentences" which may include the nationalities and numbers from each country, but no other details. (I say "finish their sentences" as some countries apparently just release those people shortly after they arrive back in their home countries, like Canada did with Michael Karas after he served a whopping 5 years in a Thai prison for murdering a young Thai woman, mutilating her face then cutting up her body and throwing it into a swamp. The Liberal (Piece Of Shi*) "Public Safety Minister" decided that "half a decade" in a Thai prison was long enough for such a crime. Within months of arriving back in Canada, Karas was out on the streets and back to his old habits of robbing banks. Within a year of being back in Canada he was back in prison and charged with 3 bank robberies.)

BangkokReady
Just now, PatOngo said: Well, they're certainly not the brains! Sure, but I think patsy is a bit more specific. Whereby people are set up to take the blame for something they did not do. Even if it was always planned that they would be killed themselves after the hit, I don't think that is a patsy.
