Small Piece of information - Marriage Extension

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Yesterday I did my application for another marriage Extension.  No hassle - 15 minutes at Ampur for Kor Ror2, 15 minutes at Bank [branch near Immigration - not my own branch] then 1hr 15 mins in Immigration for paper checks, signatures, 'Consideration' stamp etc. then on the way home.

The small piece of information - the witch in the wardrobe told me the Immigration Officer told her that there would be a house visit [we had on last year and was really not expecting one this year, but no hassle].  She was told that they had had instructions to carry out house visits every renewal unless there were children in the marriage.

Not an issue but thought I would make members aware of it.

Thanks for the heads up, doesn't impact me although married I'm on Retirement, but I'll pass it on to concerned parties. By the way which office was this, PM me if you don't want to broadcast location.

Never had a house visit in Khon Kaen.

Probably depends on where you are.

Maybe it would help if you make members aware of your location.
