Freebies on the Pattaya to Map Ta Put extension to the Route 7 motorway will be over come Monday next.

From March 1st tolls will be collected ending the 9 month moratorium.

It will cost 30 baht for a four wheel vehicle to go to the end of the extension from Pattaya, 15 and 25 baht to the intervening exits.

A car all the way from Lat Krabang to the end of the road is 130 baht.

Large trucks would pay up to 305 baht for the whole way.

Good to know because I thought it was free all the time!  No problem from Nongrue to Jomtien it is really quick worth every baht not having to travel on Sukhumvit.
