This was announced at a press briefing attended by IB chief Lt-Gen Sompong Chingduang and Region 2 immigration staff who have responsibility for Suvarnabhumi airport.

Who possibly managed to let him in?

So why wasn't Singapore doing the announcement, after all they caught him on the way out not Immigration on the way in.

Why on earth would Singapore be doing the announcement?  He was arrested in Thailand by Thai police after Thai ticketing staff in Thailand reported him.

Because he was buying a flight out of Bangkok on Singapore airways then they should ship him over to Singapore so the Singapore police can announce it.  Weird thought process you have - couldn't have Thais taking credit could we...

Cases like this, I wonder how complicit the Iranian guy is.

Could be he just used an agent and thought he was getting a genuine visa.  Or it could be he knew exactly what he was getting.

Hard to tell, but he's the one going to jail.

Probably an Iranian Nuclear Scientist defecting to the West !

Or more likely a person  trying to illegally enter Germany.

they must be really bored at their empty airport and too lazy to replace corrupted officers at burmese border

What? You are angry because  someone  was caught in an illegal act? Would you rather that Iranians with fake visas  travel unchallenged?

Have you considered that he was already in Thailand or had entered on Iranian passport? Visa may have come after entry. Thai immigration would not be verifying a German visa at entry if visitor was compliant with entry rules that applied to his Iran passport.

If they got him no way he would make it past inspection in Munich where his passport would likely be cross referenced with a database. Seems strange.

Does not matter if the intent would be to  declare himself as refugee. Once he say he is refugee on landing in Germany, he  gets all the  benefits and delights of the refugee status.

Please. He know  that visa is not legit. Big Iranian population in Germany, many of whom are legit immigrants while others are career criminals and bogus refugees. Iranians know how German system works and the also know who to game system. Merkel's legacy.

I've tried to fix the butcher's job you made of quoting and posting, but if the above is something like what you meant to post you need to read the OP again.  It was a fake German visa in an Iranian passport, which is burgundy in colour.

Real german passports are burgundy in color, like all EU passports.Butcher job?? Some real smartalexes here in the forum, knows all better but realy knows JS, how do you know the coor of an Iranian passport, are you  an IS follower?

I meant to say Singapore Airlines

Again, why?  Why would an airline be announcing a police matter?  Just because he had a ticket on one of their planes?

So if Thai police arrest a murder suspect in a McDonald's in Bangkok (after a tip off by the Thai counter staff) you would expect Ronald himself to make the announcement in Chicago?

Again I cannot understand your logic, other than to remove any credit from Thais.

Airlines are obliged to report misdemeaning passengers to the police,BUT som banknotes are welcome.

Irrelevant, there's not one involved in this story.
