Truck Collides with Pickup Truck, Parents Killed Instantly, Daughter Critical
The crash occurred at approximately 16.00 October 15, on a slippery road in Klaeng, Rayong, when a truck collided with a Ford four-door pickup truck, killing two parents instantly and leaving their younger daughter critically injured. The accident occurred on the Ban Na Bypass, Klaeng District, Rayong Province, following heavy rainfall that caused the road to become dangerously slick. Upon receiving the report, officers from the Klaeng Police Station and the Buddhast Rescue Unit rushed to the scene. They found a closed-container truck, having veered off the road. Behind the truck, on the road, lay the wreckage of the black Ford pickup truck, with its roof torn open and the cabin crushed beyond recognition. Inside the pickup truck were four family members: a father, mother, and their two daughters. Tragically, both parents died at the scene, while their 12-year-old daughter sustained severe injuries. Their 15-year-old daughter, though injured, was in a stable condition. Rescue workers quickly transported both girls to Klaeng Hospital for further treatment. The deceased parents were later identified as Mr. Rawit, 43, and Mrs. Benjamas, 37 (last names withheld). Family members, who learned of the accident through a live broadcast on a local Facebook page, “Nirat Mueang Klaeng,” arrived at the scene but were too grief-stricken to provide statements. According to the truck driver, Mr. Phakdee, 35 (last name withheld), he had been driving from Chonburi, en route to Khao Chamao in Rayong, when the crash occurred. As he approached the Ban Na Bypass, another vehicle abruptly cut in front of him. The slippery road conditions from the rain prevented him from braking in time. In an attempt to avoid hitting the car in front, he swerved to the right, only to collide with the oncoming Ford pickup. Mr. Phakdee expressed deep remorse over the tragic outcome. Police are currently gathering evidence to proceed with legal action regarding the incident. The family was reportedly heading back to their home in Khao Chamao, Rayong, at the time of the crash. Thai national killed in missile attack on Kibbutz in Israel
I wouldn’t be here in the first place if it were anything like what the state of that region is in regards land grabs, hate & religion. Likely same for most others. Those Thais are only there because of the coin, not for the love of it. -

How far back do you go? My first time was I think in 2011 but I found this review online from 2009 showing a picture and with it being the 5th one in Emirates' fleet I think it's fair to say it's always been there. https://www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=966845 This article from 2008 also shows it in the layout of the first delivery flight. https://www.businesstraveller.com/tried-and-tested/emirates-a380-800-business-class-6/ -

Strangely jovial, hip article for such a serious thing. Almost a puff piece. Anyway, about time the Thai system got with it and issued long term licenses. Enough with the money spinning and time wasting. At least make them 10 years! -
