90-Day Visa - Health Insurance Requirement..............

Featured Replies

As a current owner of a retirement visa, I am facing a renewal of my Health Insurance at a cost of 170,000 bht. per year. Only to go up again, because I'm over 70 now.

I am thinking that instead of renewing my retirement visa,  to fly back to USA and then when I want to return again, just get a 90-day Visa.

Is Health Insurance required if just visiting for 90 days?

No.

You could also get a 12 month extension at Immigration without the need for this stupid insurance.

Yes I have a 90 day visa and insurance is required. Have you tried Luma for your insurance? They seem pretty good. I bought some insurance from them just recently. From their price list it is around Baht 40,000 and I am older than you

Make sure you get a high deductable and it is lower cost.....that’s what I do and paid 47,000 and I’m 72,
