Mondulkiri province enforces 14 days’ quarantine for external visitors and travellers

The Governor of Mondulkiri Province, Svay Sam Eang, said that people from other capitals and provinces and those who are suspected to have health problems related to the February 20 community event must be quarantines for 14 days before they are allowed entry into the province.

 

Sam Eang made this remark during a visit to the troops and doctors stationed at the of Mondulkiri- at Sre Khtom commune, Keo Seima district. They are stationed there to manage checkpoints to monitor and control traffic and movement of people in and out of the province.

 

Sam Eang emphasised that although Mondulkiri province has not had any people infected with COVID-19, the people t must not forget that they have to strictly adhere to the principles of the Royal Government and the Ministry of Health who have been working hard to prevent the spread of COVID-19 into the community.
