March 23, 20215 yr Hi, I have a one year work permit with multiple re-entry permission. I need to go, back to US from Phuket to Seattle to pick up my dog to bring back to Phuket. I was planning on just spending a week in the US. Do I still need an embassy issued COE to return? One week is not enough time to get a COE from a Thai embassy in US - they want 15 business days. Thanks so much Edited March 23, 20215 yr by DolphinSpriit
March 23, 20215 yr That is going to be a long trip to get your dog as you need a COE and quarantine in ASQ when you arrive here.
March 23, 20215 yr Can you not get your best friend shipped? He will need paperwork too. "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
March 24, 20215 yr Author Thank you for your replies. Yes, it is a long complicated way to bring my dog back, but he will be traveling in cabin with me so few alternatives. I did find out that another COE is needed.

No ASQ/ALQ I've seen so far allow pets (quite a few people have asked).

I'm serious. So Fido sits next to you on flight? Never seen a pet on plane or airport apart from security sniffer dogs.
