BananaBandit
My mom's in the US. And she's got bitcoin fever. Not lookin to drop her life savings. Just play with 1K usd or something. As for how to get her started, I'm going to recommend she use Coinbase.com People say it's easy. But I still see some potential barriers. When my wife (in Thailand) signed up with Coins.co.th, she needed to take an impromptu selfie and send it immediately to the company as some sort of verification deal. Would Mom in the US have to do some similar task to get started with Coinbase? If so, that's probably beyond her reach. I assume there's text message verification, right? She might be able to swing that much. Also, how complex is the password? If it's a mandatory combo of caps + lowercase + number + special character....could be problematic. how241
It sounds like she might be better off buying some type of BTC tracker, like a ETF or similar fund...If she has a stock broker some are already handling bitcoin products.
