BANGKOK (NNT) - The Tourism Authority of Thailand and Thai AirAsia have joined to promote Thailand’s secondary cities to domestic tourists, with the “Must Visit Secondary Cities” campaign, targeting Gen Y and young adult travelers.

Secondary cities are being promoted as part of the “More Amazing” aspect of domestic travel as they offer tourists new and unique experiences outside bustling hubs. Such destinations feature unique local identities that are inspiring and beautiful, offering visitors opportunities to explore. Making them even more attractive, travel to the cities benefits the economy and distributes revenue to Thailand’s localities.

Supporting the campaign, AirAsia is offering direct flights to secondary cities and destinations in close proximity to secondary cities at a promotional fare, starting from 599 Baht per trip, reassuring travelers of their safety as it is exercising stringent COVID-19 measures and performing regular disinfection of cabins.

Would these Gen Y and young adult travellers be the same hi-so party animals responsible for the current spread of Covid-19 nationwide?

They have got to be joking. We do not need travelers from Bangkok up here with the new Covid wave.

And who would team up with Air Asia (okay TAT would) when you look at all of their BS offerings before they are terminated..

Who is this General Y?  Not another General! I thought they were cutting back on them! ????

with the added benefit of long term validity of their tickets - once you bought it - it is valid for months or even years.....
