Quarantine for foreign travelers to Thailand reduced to 10 days?

Featured Replies

Have seen numerous articles suggesting that the 14-day quarantine period for tourists has been reduced to 10 from the 1st of April. (Aside from those coming from various African countries) Can anyone confirm?

I do not see any answer to that.... Has it changed back to 14 days again now considering the "new" wave of Covid-19??

Booked my ASQ hotel and was only for 7 days as I have the vaccine . 19K baht total price .

We also just got our COE and booked our ASQ hotel for 7-days. Departing US Mat 4th

The 7-day for vaccinated with negative covid test,     10-day for unvaccinated with negative covid test.  And 14-day for travelers from some African countries still applies.  ,

What was your proof of vaccination?

I guess it all depends on your country of origin and I don't know  Billpro785's country of origin,  so I will leave t to him to answer for himself.

But from the US, where I come from, the US CDC issues a vaccination card

When you apply for your Certificate Of Entrance  (COE)  to the Embassy serving your area, they will ask you to up load copies of you vaccination record card.  When they issue you your COE your certificate will display your vaccination information at the bottom.  upon arrival in Thailand you will present your COE ( I am told I have not done that part yet) and your vaccine card (which I have laminated) to the Thai immigration official , I guess to compare the two.

Anyway, I hope this helped . Good Luck????

Thanks. Then it's the Consulate in the country that issues the COE which an applicant has to provide evidence of vaccination.
