This is fine and as it should be. Too many careless people, many of whom are expats, here in Pattaya with presumptuous arm chair expert attitudes feel it's OK to ignore basic preventative measures. I have no problem wearing a mask in public. I don't want to get sick and I don't want to infect someone else if I happen to have it with no symptoms and pass it on by not wearing a mask.

Good move by the authorities, lets hope that they enforce it. I am sick of seeing so many farangs in the Pattaya area strolling about without masks. The Police don't have a good track record in enforcing laws, so I won't hold my breath.
