May 5, 20215 yr A 32-year old HIV/AIDS woman who was homeless and struggling to survive sold her seven-month-old baby to one of the neighbours with the hope that the child will have a better life. However, how much Monireth (real name withheld) sold her baby is not known. Mith Samlanh, a local organisation working with marginalised children, youth, their families and their communities under Friends International and has a centre in Phnom Penh managed to rescue the baby last month. According to Mith Samlanh, Monireth who was diagnosed with HIV had a baby and was homeless for quite some time. Over the years, Monireth became very sick due to HIV/AIDS and with her ailment, she had to also care for her baby and had nowhere to turn for help and felt that the only option to survive during the lockdown was to sell her baby, it was posted in the Friends International Facebook page. read more https://www.khmertimeskh.com/50851385/baby-sold-by-hiv-aids-positive-mother-rescued/ ThaiVisa, c'est aussi en français ThaiVisa, it's also in French
