Siam Chon News reported that Pattaya's mayor Sontaya Khunplome has received his second dose of Sinovac vaccine against Covid-19.

This is part of government plans to create herd immunity in Pattaya by innoculating 70% of the population.

Sontaya got his jab that didn't take long. Then he waited 30 minutes to see if there were any adverse reactions.

There were none, though he reported a bit of pain at the site of the injection in his arm.

He expressed optimism and confidence about the vaccine rollout creating herd immunity and pointing to a brighter future for the tourism city.

"Make sure NCC1701A gets his jab. He will single handedly save our town."

"He expressed optimism and confidence about the vaccine rollout creating herd immunity and pointing to a brighter future for the tourism city."

If he thinks that's happening anytime before next year he really is an optimist.

Yes he really is. The UK is being cautious about immunity, and they have been rolling out vaccinations at 600,000 / day since December, 5 months ago, and have still not achieved it.

Good job he has strong arms ???? ????

About 45, 500, 999, and they all have to have two doses each.
