They're not going to. He's just a private citizen, who like many people, holds opinions on the world around him. I suppose what he is doing, is a semi-witty way, is shine a light on the dickless middle aged wonders inhabiting social media. And the way it works in the US, neither the Democrats nor Republican. per se, "embrace" any candidate for Veep. Its down entirely to the Presidential candidate's perogative. There is no scrutiny at all in the process, unless the VP candidate was one of the failed Presidential candidates (eg Sarah Palin), then the public gets some sort of measure of the person. Its a curious position. The Vice President cannot be sacked by the President, because he/she is the only elected member of the cabinet. But now many Republicans would have preferred someone else instead of Vance?
