Ombra Posted May 22, 2021 Share Posted May 22, 2021 Because of the problems caused by the virus, VFS has extended the period during which the new passport should be collected from 30 days to 60 days and has introduced a third day (Friday) for this purpose. OJAS Posted May 23, 2021 Share Posted May 23, 2021 What the pandemic has clearly shown IMHO is that the current UK passport renewal procedures from Thailand are basically not fit for purpose at the present time at least. Forcing applicants to make a couple of trips to Bangkok is really not acceptable while COVID-19 is impacting life severely there.
