PHUKET (NNT) - The Phuket Tourist Association has announced that all people directly involved in the tourism sector in Phuket will be vaccinated against COVID-19 before the island reopens to international visitors, planned for July 1st.

Association president Phumkit Raktaengam said 94,000 people employed in the province’s tourist industry will be inoculated and all residents, with household documents registered in the province, are also to receive vaccines.

Phuket’s vaccination plans cover 70% of the population by the end of June.

Provincial deputy governor Piyapong Chuwong also confirmed on Monday that about 400,000 people, registered as native residents of the island, will be one of the priority groups for inoculation.

Won't happen, as I pass.

Of course they will be, unless they are not.

Vaccinated with what?  The government  has 35 days to make its fantasy come true. Do they have even have the assets of equipment and personnel to deliver the doses?

Ok, nice move

now have a talk about the 10 000+ freelances flowing on the island

as soon as the first tourists start to arrive, you could have few super spreader among them

Deport and exile all residents and replace them with fully vaxed up generals is a more likely scenario ????

Without a shadow of a doubt there must be some super spreaders among 10000 freelancers !
